Effects of Bagging of the Panicles of Philippine Carabao Mango (Mangifera indica L.) Using Waxed Paper Bags

The present study was conducted in Brgy. Dangcol, Balanga City, Bataan to evaluate the effect of bagging whole panicle (cluster) carabao mango fruit with waxed paper bag as compared traditional method and without terms yield quality well cost-benefit analysis. Results revealed that fruits bagged per cluster using (T3) obtained highest number marketable (130.60) total weight 34.21 kg while XL no (T1) were significantly higher those (T3). Insect damage observed there is a scab (T1). Meanwhile, wind scar two methods (conventional bag). All treatments comparable physical chemical characteristics except for peel color which lighter green fruits.
